about

The many pieces that make up the album Mars were composed for the web project, Mars At Your Fingertips (marsatyourfingertips.com), a scientific survey of all existing Mars missions created by astronomer Lonny Buinis. I gathered all of the emotions I felt as I learned of the successes and failures of the many missions to Mars and watched the amazing videos gathered and sent by the successful Mars rovers. I put all of those feelings into this musical essay to reflect the human struggle to know and understand our universe. It is my deepest hope that you enjoy the result.
